New Mexico Passport

Wherever you went today, whatever you did, I hope you had your New Mexico passport with you.

What is all this New Mexico Passport stuff anyway?

The truth about the New Mexico Passport

You actually don't need a New Mexico Passport to do anything -- except, perhaps, to confuse your enemies, amaze your friends, and get something notarized at the local bank. Maybe it's time to start fresh with a new identity, become the person you always meant to be. Well, then, get your New Mexico Passport now and begin your new life! Step into that brave new world where anything is possible. You are only limited by your imagination

The New Mexico Passport was created in 1989 by Robert Hayes, Norman Nelson, and Mary Ford, with Spanish translations by Pilar Bernad.  The first printing sold out within a year.  Robert Hayes, aka Betín, issued a new edition in 1997 with new quotes and  two maps, to rave revues by the Albuquerque Journal. This edition is now in its second printing. I welcome your feedback and suggestions, and am always on the lookout for new quotes -- particularly by Native Americans of this area.

Also, I am looking into creating passports for other places.  The Pacific Northwest, aka Cascadia, seems a good candidate. Maybe even something completely whimsical.
