We live a long way down a dirt road with no name -- the few cars that go by belong out here. We make all our electricity from the sun. The straw bale house is 100% passive solar and stays as warm or as cool as we want all year round. Neighbors are far enough away that coyotes (and our dogs) make the most noise. A great place for peace and star gazing.
